Dear Reader,
I am an avid reader myself. Do you often lean to smell the pages of your new book? Do you feel the cover while you are reading? Do you have a to “be read” list? Then we belong to the same species.

I had always been a hardcover lover and “had” and not “have” is not used accidentally here. I am a traitor. I confess. I bought myself as a Christmas present an eBook reader. I can imagine your look. That is why I am lowering my eyes myself.
But the little devil has proved to be very handy! I have downloaded so many books! They are more than 20 now! And altogether weigh no more than 200grams! I do not waste time looking words up in the dictionary, I do not stumble on books anymore and do not have to move piles to dust my furniture! And ….I do not see my bank account evaporate every time a title attracts my attention.
I have a complain though. I am not able to download Greek publications. For a reason I do not know, and I would not like to research. I am just a consumer and I want things to be done at my convenience. It is not my obligation to understand the publishers they have to find a way to solve the problem. As I am able to have on my device any title I want in seconds, I would also like to be able to do this with the Greek books. It is not possible to bring my laptop on the beach to read my latest acquisition!
Reading should be offered any way possible not hindered. And as our incomes are shrinking day by day and technology is expanding it is only reasonable for people like me to grab any opportunity to save money even at the expense of that feeling of excitement you get when you open the parcel with your new pile!
I think I am gradually falling for my miniature bookcase though I still buy the old traditional three-dimensional book for my book club monthly sessions. I still love underlining and keeping notes in it, transforming it into Anastasia’s new book!
