Shake-up at Edmond de Rothschild

Until a successor is appointed, Cynthia Tobiano, Deputy CEO, will temporarily lead the division

Edmond de Rothschild is restructuring its leadership in Private Banking. Hervé Ordioni, who previously headed the International Private Banking division, is no longer with the company. The Geneva-based private bank confirmed the report published by «Inside Paradeplatz.»

Ordioni took over the leadership of the division two years ago. As CEO of International Private Banking, he managed Edmond de Rothschild’s activities in Switzerland, Monaco, Dubai, Israel, and the United Kingdom from Geneva, as well as overseeing Wealth Solutions, Wealth Planning, and EAM. Simultaneously, he was tasked with developing various products and services for the bank’s clients.

Played a key role in Monaco

Notably, in 2008, Ordioni played a key role in the founding of Edmond de Rothschild Gestion (Monaco), a company specializing in portfolio and fund management. He completed his studies at the University of Paris Dauphine with a Master’s degree in Asset Management.

He was let go to enable the institution, as stated, to meet the «challenges» in this area.

Until a successor is appointed, Cynthia Tobiano, Deputy CEO, will temporarily lead the division.
