Το Eurojackpot και η Eurovision βάζουν την Marina Satti στα ευρωπαικά μουσικά σαλόνια και την εκτοξεύουν σαν ένα από τα μεγαλύτερα νέα ονόματα στην ευρωπαική μουσική βιομηχανία.
Η Marina βρέθηκε πριν λίγες ώρες παρέα με φίλους της στην OPAP Arena να πανηγυρίζει τα γκολ της Εθνικής Ομάδας κόντρα στο Καζακστάν για την πρόκριση στο Euro 2024.
Παρακολούθησε την αναμέτρηση από τη σουίτα του ΟΠΑΠ, ο οποίος έφερε πρόσφατα στην Ελλάδα το Eurojackpot που είναι και χορηγός της ελληνικής συμμετοχής στον Ευρωπαϊκό Διαγωνισμό Τραγουδιού.
Με το Eurojackpot να συνοδεύει στο Μάλμε τη Marina Satti, ευχή όλων είναι αυτή η σύμπραξη να φέρει πανηγυρισμούς στον ημιτελικό στις 9 Μαΐου και στον μεγάλο τελικό στις 11 Μαΐου.

Combining Greek traditional sounds with her pop and urban influences, Greek singer and songwriter Marina Satti celebrates through her music the multiculturalism that runs through her veins. Raised in Heraklion, Greece, by a Cretan mother and a Sudanese father, Marina Satti grew to fully embrace her roots and heritage and shake up the codes of modern music. After getting a scholarship to the Berklee College of Music (USA), Marina founded fonέs, a women’s polyphonic group, as well as CHÓRES, a choir of 200 women with whom she promotes Greek traditional songs on the international scene. By placing choirs at the center of her work and celebrating poetic mixtures, Marina Satti created an authentic artistic approach. It was in 2017 that the general public discovered her with the track « Mantissa », which means « fortune teller » and which has gotten more than 50 million views on Youtube. Since then, Marina Satti has been on a meteoric rise and continues to establish her reputation beyond the Greek borders with relays on COLORS, KEXP, NOWNESS, SOCIETY, or even NPR, and performances in over 20 countries around the world. In her first album YENNA, released in 2022, the artist evolves between Greek and Balkan influences, enhanced by hip-hop rhythms and electronic arrangements; a unique mix that puts her at the forefront of the global pop scene.
YENNA, from the Greek γέννα, means “birth”. The word is used symbolically, seeking to capture the creative process and the different stages one goes through to bring something new to life:excitement, fear, insecurity, pain, then release and change. YENNA is also a personal rebirth for the artist, from which she emerges much fiercer, more free and, ultimately, more alive. With this album Marina Satti dares to unapologetically experiment with pop and urban music, cowriting and co-producing along with a multifaceted creative team from Greece, Cyprus, Paris, New York and Canada.
